operational notice

I've been tinkering with the website, as you probably noticed, trying to make it more user-friendly.  The navigation buttons are all at the bottom of the snazzy new banner; the front page has changed; I've enabled ratings for everything (yeh, that was on the to-do list for a very long time, but I never finished the configuration).  Also, I've configured subscriptions.  There are two easy ways to subscribe to content: 1) when you log in to the website, click on Notifications.
